McKeller-Sipes Airport (KMKL)

Your health and safety remain our first priorities as we carefully monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19).   The McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport has not had any reported cases among our passengers, personnel or partners.  We are diligently following the guidance of the Federal Aviation AdministrationCenters for Disease Control and PreventionWorld Health Organization, our airline partner and federal, state and community health officials as we receive it.   In addition, our housekeeping staff is continuing to pay special attention to disinfecting high-traffic areas such as restrooms, airline counters, counter tops, door handles, seating and other public areas.   We encourage everyone to monitor his or her health prior to arriving at the airport. We also urge you to bring hand sanitizer, or anti-bacterial wipes for personal use during travel. We recommend that you bring a mask and wear it when around other people.  Signage throughout the airport will encourage proper social distancing and provide information about the cleaning standards for particular facilities or spaces.  We will adhere to social distancing and campsites will be set according to State and County Guidelines.
